American Dippers

Dippers are my favorite birds, so I wanted to devote a page in my portfolio just to them. American Dippers are found throughout Western North America along rivers and mountain streams. Wherever there is clean, fast moving water, dippers will be there too. They are the only aquatic songbird in North America! While they don’t like much at first, their beauty is in the behavior. They are constantly in motion, hunting under the water for their next meal!
